Two Kinds of Slow Cooking

Slow cooking is an ideal method for cooking less expensive portions of meat to make them more tender and tasty than by other forms of cookery. Vegetarian and vegan dishes can also be made via slow cooking. Slow cooker was used in the preparation of meals.

There are two kinds of slow cooking.

● Direct stewing slow cooking

The all-inclusive and ever-changing cuisine allows diners to choose from a wide range of flavors. Beef, tomato, potato and chilly together with some water to be slow cooked in the pottery which is controlled by a setting temperature to keep the mixed food flavored. The practice of stewing in cooking is closely linked to the invention of pottery cookers. To now, it is widely used in an electric multifunction cooker.

● Slow cooking in water boiling

Water is the most important thing for the earth and for all human beings. Slow cooking in water is some kind of steaming. We may also called it water boiling slow cooking. It is an old traditional way of cooking in China. It is also wildly used in Canton(Guangdong) province in China where soup making is quite popular among Cantonese. Food in the inner pot is heated by boiling water, which is not direct contacting food. Therefore, those food is kept the original fresh during heat transferring from water to food. It is different with steaming, as steaming is heating by heated water vapor. Water boiling slow cooking is wildly used for cooking chicken soup, dessert soup and flower tea etc.
