Founded in 1996, TONZE Shares is headquartered in Shantou, and its main business is LiPF6 and small household appliances products.
On May 28, 2015, the company was listed on the main board of Shenzhen Stock Exchange A shares, and the total market capitalization of the company is 9.916 billion at present.
TONZE Shares started out with small kitchen appliances. In 1994, Wu Xidun, a 31-year-old married man of Chaoshan origin, decided to engage in trade after experiencing the workplace baptism in state-owned institutions such as Shantou Zhongma Non-forest Factory, Shantou Port Authority and Shantou Ocean Shipping Tally Company.
TONZE Electric, formerly known as Shantou Sida Electric, invested and registered under the exclusive name of Wu Xidun, was mainly engaged in home appliances, communication equipment and refrigeration equipment.
In 1995, Mr. and Mrs. Wu Xidun incorporated Xingjia International in Hong Kong.
In the following year, Sida Electric and Xingjia International jointly financed and incorporated Guangdong TONZE Appliance (now renamed TONZE Shares), focusing on the niche market area of health care small household appliances.
TONZE Electric was the first to develop Ceramic out-of-water slow cooker（Ceramic Double Boiler）, Ceramic porridge pot and Ceramic Healthcare Products in China.
Guangdong families‘s habits to stew and boil, as well as the habit of using Chinese herbs to health care, has become a key cultural driver for the rise of the TONZE Electric. It soon built up a barrier to competition in the field of small kitchen household appliances.
From 2011 to 2014, "TONZE" brand cooking appliances (Electric slow cooker, Electric water-insulated stew pots) sales volume, and market share has been ranked among the industry first, with market share often reached 30%.
2015, TONZE Electric was listed on the SME Board.
Over the years, TONZE has always taken users and products as the core, gradually developed Ceramic electric stewpot, Electric rice cookers, Healthcare pots, Chinese herbs pots, Frying pans, Mother and Child（母婴）, Medical equipment and other product categories.
TONZE is committed to independent research, development and innovation of healthy small kitchen appliances, has won more than 500 national patents.
With the unique product advantages and mature marketing network, sales cover more than 160 citie, construction of more than 200 starred service outlets, exportion to many countries in Asia Pacific, Europe and the United States, TONZE was much loved by consumers at home and abroad.
Since 2021, TONZE Electric has embarked on a new strategic planning. At present, the performance of the TONZE shares still shows high growth. 15 July, the TONZE Shares disclosed semi-annual forecast and is expected to the net profit attributes to the owner of the parent company of 500 million ~ 520 million yuan, an increase of 144.00% ~ 153.76% over the same period a year before.
It is worth noting that TONZE's good performance in the past year has also helped the corporate helmsman Wu Xidun to grow his fortune. This year, Wu Xidun was listed on the Hurun China Rich List 2022 with a fortune of RMB 5.7 billion, making him the newest entrepreneur on the list this year.
